Hi and welcome! I am Kristina- an adventurous traveler who has documented my life’s journey, camera in hand. My love for photography and exploration runs deep in my heart!
My background is in aviation (airplane pilot). I worked for the airline industry for over a decade and used my travel benefits to see the world. I made it to all 7 continents before age 35! I even spent 4 months at the South Pole in Antarctica! I’m working hard to make it to the North Pole of the world soon!
In my early days of travel, a coworker suggested I buy a camera to document all the amazing places I visited. After taking a class with the Texas Parks and Wildlife photo editor, I was in LOVE with photography! That started my journey into landscape photography around the world… 20 years ago!!
As life moved on and I settled down, got married, and had a family, I knew I had to change direction a bit with photography. After all, I wasn’t just popping on an airplane every few days to explore a new destination.
So, taking the photography skills I already understood about beautiful landscapes and amazing sunsets.. and placing clients like you inside the scenic backdrop – I cultivated Sunset Beach Photography! I had such a deep understanding of natural light (sun) and knew it would be a perfect fit! Still, years later, I only take one client per sunset to give YOU, my clients, the best opportunity for optimal color in your photos.
Recently I opened a studio to accommodate headshot and portrait photography. I spent 3 very intense days training with Peter Hurley, who is known around the world for headshot photography. He, along with many others, have given me all the tools to make my new venture a success!
